What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client I like to meet in person, I feel like this is the best way to get to know the client you will be doing work for. We thoroughly discuss the project from design to build through the completion of the project, timelines, potential problems or hiccups that could happen so there are no surprises for the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the construction industry since I was 15 year's old. When I was 18 I joined the Operating Engineers local 542 and ran heavy equipment and learned the ins and outs of the construction industry. In 2018 I decided to take the skills and knowledge that I had learned over the year and open my own business.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a standered princing system. Every job is differernt and unique and I always try to work with customers on pricing for there specific project.
How did you get started in this business?
I have benn in the construction/landscape industry my whole life and joined the union right out of high school as an Operating Engineer Local 542 and after working with and learning from some of the best mentors in the business in 2015 i decided to start Santangelo Contracting.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every year we participate in the toy the toy drive to Shriners Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Christophers Hospital. We also work with Habitat for Hummanity.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions, even if they seem rediculous, there are no such things as a stupid question especially when it comes to projects being done at your home.
